Dublin City SLT was set up by Louise O'Rourke, Speech and Language Therapist. Louise graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, with a BSc. in Clinical Speech and Language Studies. She is CORU registered and a member of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT). She has experience working both in private practice in the UK and Ireland, and in the public sector in the HSE. In the UK, Louise worked in mainstream primary schools delivering training to school staff and delivering group and one-to-one therapy to children. In both the UK and Ireland, Louise has worked with many children and their families, completing detailed assessments and delivering a wide range of interventions.

Louise is experienced in working with children with a variety of needs including speech and language delay, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Speech Sound Disorder, Selective Mutism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), stammering, voice difficulties and more.
